Mike Foster established A1 in 1999 following a training and business skills based career in business banking, with additional experience from senior management positions in the leisure industry and whilst undertaking leadership roles in the charitable sector. He has a wide range of experience in the small business market, whilst holding various positions with a major high street bank. Mike was trained at the Warwick University school of business, holds his financial qualification with the Chartered Institute of Bankers and has a diploma in Sales and Marketing. He is also AICB, CB Dip Qualified Bookkeeper. Mike is also a qualified instructor to deliver first aid courses. His interests are his voluntary work, where he has held the post of National Chairman for the voluntary organisation - Rotaract, covering Great Britain and Ireland. He is a past president of his local Rotary club. Other interests include football and rugby.   Karl Bushell is a successful and qualified financial services professional with a wide depth of experience in high level leadership and relationship roles within a world class financial company. He also has extensive experience of the small business market and the training environment. Karl is media trained by B.B.C, an approved Bank and Enterprise agency trainer for various courses, whilst also undertaking Customer Care training at the Disney Institute. He has substanial marketing experience in many sectors and has helped many businesses exceed their targets and goals. He has a degree in Finance (A.C.I.B), a Business Coaching Diploma, a Business Finance Diploma and is a Human Resources Assessor accredited with Saville and Holdsworth. His interests include table tennis, where he represents the county as captain. He is a British League player with a national ranking and is the most successful table tennis player of all time in Oxfordshire. He also enjoys travel, most forms of sport and wildlife.
